Today we've rolled out another new feature for our LaunchNet quote software - attachments.

Thanks to the feedback we've been getting from our customers we've learned that a lot of you wish you could attach files when you're sending quotes - similar to how you would when sending an email - so that's what we've built.

Now when you go into your quotes you'll see a new fourth section at the bottom to manage your attachments. Simply choose the file you wish to attach and this will be saved against the quote. Now whenever you send this quote it will come with your attachments - no need to keep attaching it!

At the moment the types of file you can upload are limited to GIF, JPG, PNG, Word Document, Excel Spreadsheet, Publisher Presentations, PDFs and plain text files. Hopefully this will be enough for now!

Remember to keep that feedback coming - we've got a few other updates in the mill that should be coming shortly so stay tuned!

Filtering and deleting quotes

Just a couple of small tweaks to talk about today. First of all we've beefed up the filtering of quotes so you can now more easily order your quotes by creation date or due date.

We've also gotten a few requests from our users to have the ability to delete quotes for good. We've now put this functionality into action so now when you go in and edit a quote you should see a "Delete Quote" button at the bottom. We've also added in a confirmation button so hopefully you won't go deleting quotes by accident!

There's also a lot more changes in the pipeline so we'll be sure to keep you abreast of any changes as and when they happen.

Quote Templates

Today we've rolled out a new feature for our quote software based on the feedback that we've been getting - quote templates.

We appreciate that a lot of businesses like to send out similar quotes to various customers, and to save you time - and help you generate more business - we've implemented quote templates.

To take advantage of this functionality you just need to mark an existing quote as a template (you'll see a blue "T" symbol next to it after you do) and then this quote is ready to be duplicated. The next time you click on "create quote" you should see the "Create from Template" option which will give you a drop-down of all your quote templates. Simply hit the "Go" button once you've selected your desired template and you should see your new quote details get filled in with all the descriptions and products of your template.

Hopefully this will prove beneficial to all of our customers, and will further increase the rate at which you can send out quotes and generate business.
